Set of 6 unique French antique dining chairs with wood and leather in the Renaissance Revival style.
These chairs feature richly carved wooden frames, embossed leather upholstery, and decorative brass stud accents. Each chair showcases ornate detailing, from the scrolling motifs in the leather to the turned spindle accents on the backrest, reflecting the high level of craftsmanship typical of the late 1800s to early 1900s.
Embossed leather work and studded upholstery indicate that these chairs were not mass-produced but were made for a client who valued both beauty and functionality.
The wooden frames are sturdy and structurally sound. The embossed leather shows wear on the edges and corners consistent with its age, adding character and authenticity, see pictures. Decorative studs have a beautiful natural patina. Would benefit from restoration.
